Hey there! I'm Sophia Mae, the face (and brushes!) behind SophiaMaeMUA. My love for makeup and hair started when I was seventeen, and seven years later, that spark has grown into a business I adore. I spent three of those years in East Nashville at the Academy of Makeup Arts, where I earned my certificate in makeup for TV and film, along with my certification in the art of wig and hair design.

Since then, I've had the absolute joy of working with countless brides! Helping each one feel like the most beautiful, confident version of themselves on their wedding day. There's nothing I love more than seeing all the details come together: the dress, the flowers, the glam, and that moment when it just feels right.

My studio is tucked away in historic downtown Columbia, TN — one of my favorite places to be when I'm not on the road. I also offer traveling and destination services because I believe your glam experience should fit seamlessly into your day, wherever you're celebrating.

As a makeup artist, my top priorities are all in the details, keeping things calm, stress-free, and full of good vibes. When I'm not behind the chair, you can usually find me thrifting unique finds, keeping up with my latest fashion obsessions, or grabbing Raising Cane's (my post-wedding tradition, always!).
