This month, we are so excited to present our August 2024 Vows That Wow and highlight Snehal & Haren’s beautiful wedding day.
A Celebration To Honor Their Heritage
In the heart of Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame, a wedding that perfectly blended Western and Indian traditions took center stage, offering a beautiful fusion of cultures. From the meticulously planned details to the stunning florals and the breathtaking venue, every aspect of this wedding reflected the couple’s unique journey. Bride Snehal shared, “The Mehndi (henna) ceremony was 2 days prior to the wedding. It’s a pre-wedding event where henna is applied to the hands and feet of the bride. It is regarded as a sign of blissful married life and is emblematic of vibrance, fertility, and attraction of positivity. The bride has the groom’s name hidden in the intricate artwork on her hands.”
She goes on to share the different events they decided to include in their wedding such as the Kanyadaanam (giving away of the bride), Varamala (exchanging of garlands to symbolize the formal acceptance of one another), and the Aashirvaad (acceptance of blessings from family at the ceremony), along with other events to honor their upbringings.
Snehal & Haren’s Favorite Memory
Snehal & Haren shared that their favorite memory from their wedding day was exchanging their vows. The couple wrote their own, emotional vows that allowed guests to have a small glimpse into their love story.
Highlighting Their Vendors
The Patels shared that their day was made easy and stress-free because of their planner, Weddings & Events by Raina. The couple said, “From our first meeting, we hit it off. There is something to be said about having an initial connection with someone. Raina and her team made us a priority and were our biggest advocate. One of the things we valued most about Raina is how she insisted on us meeting all of our vendors and coming to all of our meetings.”
Along with their planner, the florist team at Larson Floral Co. achieved the perfect elevated & elegant look with their white arrangements placed throughout the ceremony and reception. The stunning table centerpieces were such a beautiful highlight of the day.
Their wedding day was not just a celebration of their union, but a vibrant reflection of their shared cultures, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.
