Our team receives and showcases beautiful weddings on our digital platforms week after week, all courtesy of the talented vendors and lovely couples who submit to us. Each month, our team selects one outstanding wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty!
This month, we are so excited to present our July 2025 Vows That Wow and highlight Amara & John’s beautiful wedding day.
Tradition & Intention
Amara and John’s day was designed with purpose and heritage in mind. “Culture was a meaningful part of the wedding,” Amara shared. “We held our ceremony at the Cathedral of Incarnation, so Catholic/Christian traditions played a central role in our celebration.” Amara’s longtime priest officiated the ceremony, making it extra special. From the very beginning of planning, the couple prioritized the meaningful moments. “John and I made sure to include private moments throughout the day, which made everything feel more intimate. One of my favorite parts was sharing our vows privately and having a first dance with only our parents in the room,” Amara shared.
Planner CM Event Design helped bring Amara & John’s vision to life with ease. “I learned how important it is to hire a wedding planner you really click with—it makes the entire planning process a breeze,” Amara said. And a breeze it was, thanks to CM Event Design. No detail was overlooked with Christine behind the scenes on their special day. She took the vision the couple shared with her and created a true masterpiece. With decor & rentals from Curated Events, the space was completely transformed into exactly what the couple dreamed it would be.
Style & Show Stopping Fashion
The personal details didn’t stop at the ceremony for Amara. Her look was a stunning mix of sophisticated elegance and personal touches. Her gown from Luxe Redux Bridal featured a custom design, combining the intricate lace sleeves and stunning veil for a one-of-a-kind ensemble. In a beautiful nod to her family, Amara’s veil featured pearls from her grandmother’s wedding dress. Her look was made even more meaningful with the heirloom jewelry passed down through generations. Her grandmother’s ring adorned her hand while a stunning tennis bracelet from Diamond Cellar completed the look, combining something borrowed & something new in her attire.
After the formalities, Amara changed into a short reception dress from Bella Bridesmaids Nashville. This fun and flirty dress was perfect for dancing the night away. From beginning to end, Amara’s fashion choices were a hit!
Tastes, Toasts & Thoughtful Touches
The cocktail hour was filled with both fun and intention. As the couple shared private vows, a first dance, and parent dances, the guests enjoyed tasty light bites, drinks, and games in the Clementine courtyard. The celebration was full of personality with a cigar bar featuring custom matchboxes and a photobooth offering fun photo strips for guests to take home. Guests were treated to an elevated catering and bartending experience by Dream Events & Catering, from delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks to a full dinner. They even provided the bites for the “Happily Ever After Meals” designed by Amara, a late-night snack and to-go food setup that ended the night on a tasty note.
While the day was full of excitement, it was also rich with deeply meaningful touches and moments for Amara & John to slow down and take it all in. As Christine of CM Event Design shared, the couple’s many nods to family “beautifully speak to a wedding rooted in honoring heritage and generational love.”

From start to finish, Amara and John’s day reflected a couple who knows where they come from and who is ready to step into the future with joy. Dreaming up a day like Amara & John’s? Connect with the talented vendors that made it possible here!
