A celebration rooted in family, faith, and generations of love, Karis & Tripp’s wedding day was filled with details that made it incredibly special. One of the most meaningful tributes was a display of wedding dresses belonging to the women who came before Karis, including her mother, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers, each paired with their wedding portrait.
Karis shared, “I turned one of interior rooms into a show room, where I displayed my mom, both of my grandmothers, and my great grandmothers wedding dresses on mannequins. Each dress was next to their wedding portrait! I also got to use my great grandmothers veil that was handmade in Belgium, and has been passed through many other brides in my family! Truly such a special moment in my day to come down and see all of the pieces of the love stories that helped make me into the wife and woman that I am today!”
The celebration continued outdoors with a beautiful ceremony centered on faith, followed by an elegant tented reception brought to life by 3T Tents & Events. From the curated details to the romantic reception setting, every element complemented the timeless, chic style Karis brought to the day. Sweet Stars Cupcakes, the business Karis shares with her best friend Ruby, added another personal touch to the celebration with their beautiful (and delicious!) cupcakes. With family history woven throughout and a setting that felt both refined and welcoming, Karis & Tripp’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of their love story and the generations of love that came before it.
